Narnia is one of the world’s best-known melodic Christian metal bands. The name refers directly to C.S. Lewis’s fantasy world, whose Christian allegories the band uses as a source of inspiration for their lyrics.

Their sound is a blend of power metal, neoclassical metal (heavily influenced by CJ Grimmark’s guitar style), and progressive metal.

The band formed in 1996 in Jönköping, Sweden, temporarily disbanded in 2010, and has been active again since 2014.

Christian Liljegren’s powerful voice and Narnia’s energy captivated the audience at Loud and Proud as early as 2024. That’s why it was clear to everyone involved right after their last performance that this wouldn’t be their final visit to Wissen.
